Hello Ted Christodaro,
This thank you is long overdue. Back on Friday, May 18th, I stopped by your shop with my Gary Fisher Big Sur Mountain Bike. I was on vacation (live north of Pittsburgh) and wanted to ride back to Camp Santanoni (that day) before traveling on to Ticonderoga to attend a history conference that evening. You very graciously worked me into your hectic day (you were the only employee that morning and had a bike clinic that day). Your act of kindness really made my vacation for me. I was able to ride back to that Adirondack Camp. There were some grades to climb. I really made use of my brakes going down those grades. I got my ride in and made it to Ticonderoga without being late. Thanks again.
All the Best,
David Miller

Dear Gordi,
I just wanted to tell you how much we loved the flowers at our wedding-they were absolutely perfect!
You were such a pleasure to work with and I would be happy to be a referance, should you ever need one.

Dear Ted and Gordi,

Ted,
Thank you very much, you know I will be back for another bike sooner then later.
Ahh yes..... you are right the 29 incher is fantastic. I would certainly encourage everyone to seriously consider one over a 26er. The Paragon is a rocket, climbs well, and handles above average in the technical stuff at slow speeds.
I like the stupid sweep bars and the double thumb sram 7 shifters work just fine. The swable tire on the back must go for the train I am riding on, (lacks a solid bite on the up hill climb). Fern park was rideable for me on the day that I came out and the Bug Lake Trail system was fast fun.
The Rumble-Fish or the Hifi 29 incher have been put on my wish list. To bad I could not swap out my 26 inch rims for a pair of 29 inchers on my current HIfi.
Again Thank You for Your Top Shelf Assistance and Service;
Sincerely
Kristopher Williams

I was in your shop about a week ago and asked about local MTB trails. A young woman by the name of Sarah helped me. Just prior I had tried on my own to find some trails and ended up a bit frustrated. She took the time to show me the wall map and talk to me about the areas she knew about. She gave specific details and was very helpful. While I didn't purchase anything and my visit was purley informational... in terms of customer service, she was excellent, and I thought her manager should know. Those sorts of genuine personal gestures make a person, like me, 100% more likely to return when I do need something bike related (service or parts).

From several mechanical issues on 3 Aug. We are the Lone Star Cyclists from the Fort Worth Texas and descended on y'all about 1130 AM. We had started from Bar Harbor ME and were en route to Niagara Falls. Whew....what a great trip....despite some wet weather cycling and camping.
For openers: Ken Harvel had a broken rear brake cable that required surgical extraction at the handle and replacement. Then your took on Ms Marti Lewis's computer that took considerable trouble-shooting.
Finally my Madone 5.5 drive-train had been a basket case for the previous two days in Vt's Green Mtns and the Adirondacks. It had been modified from a standard Dura-Ace derailleur and 11-26 cassette to an XTR mountain bike derailleur and an IRD 12-32 for the hill-climbs there. This setup was POSSESSED BY DEMONS...It chattered like a never lubed thrashing machine on steroids. I'd execute a rear shift and hope that eventually it just might happen...esp on a climb. Or better yet, it would shift on its own....or slip off the cassette entirely.....lottsa fun.
Thanks for being a GREAT WRENCH and for saving our trip...here's an extra $50 bucks as a token of my appreciation. I think that you guys under-price your services. Have a cold one on me.

One of the better parts of my training day was cycling past my favorite bike shop, Pedals & Petals in Inlet, NY. It's a bike store and a flower store! Run by a cycling happy husband and a horticulture happy wife! Now thats how you make a relationship work.

The owner is very passionate about biking. He loves bikes and will talk to you about bikes and cycling for an hour. You can get a bike tune up on the fly and or make appointments. They'll do whatever they can you assist you. And oh yeah, one of the only Trek dealers in the upstate area!
